Dashboards are the start, not the point.
A dashboard answers the question you already knew to ask. The harder one is the question you did not think to ask — the debtor who quietly slipped from thirty days to fifty, the project that went past its quoted hours three weeks ago, the month that is going to be tight well before it feels tight.
So the direction we are building toward is a version of DashIQ you can ask. Not a chart you configure, but a question you type — why is cash lower than last month? — answered from your live Odoo, in plain English, with the working shown so you can check it.
Said plainly: that is not what you would be buying today, and it is not part of the initial release. DashIQ launches as dashboards. The layer that answers questions comes after it, and we are not putting a date on it until we have run it against our own books long enough to trust what it tells us.
Which is what we are doing now. The debtor ageing, the pipeline, the hours delivered against hours quoted — our own weekly read on WAO is pulled from our own Odoo exactly this way, before any of it is pointed at a client. On something that reports on your money, we would rather be the first client than the first vendor.
